Over the last 20 years, we have performed management services for institutional lenders and banks through the last three major downturns in the hospitality sector. Most of our clientele in this sector have been with repeat clients, referrals, or directly from our brand partners. We believe that our approach of aligning our goals with the lenders goals has resulted in this repeat clientele.
These goals are:
- Recognizing that these hotels will not be long term holds and working hand in glove with the hotel brokerage company to provide a profitable sale. The major hotel brokerage companies will attest to this attitude.
- While recognizing that the hold period is short, we operate the hotel with a long-term mentality except where capital funding is required. Strategic use of capital improvements and life safety issues are always addressed.
- Maintaining, and in most cases mending brand relationships for these distressed type assets.
